Kim Clijsters Come Back - For the Sake of Good Old Days!

I had not expectation for Usopen which is the last Grand Slam of 2009, frankly speaking. Well, then Kim Clijsters announced her comeback on August. It makes me wonder if there will be any difference in women tennis. I mean I am so bored watching those female players running in tennis count. I would rather not to mention their names. My life is less fun since the retirement of Hingis and Henin. But now, Kim Clijsters, who is an excellent tennis player, come back to the court! I'm not too excited, but at least she will make the games more watchable. As she and Henin were mentioned together all time and both of them come from Belgium, it reminds me Henin by watching her play. And those good old days! Some rumors say Henin is thinking about comeback too. If it's true, it will cheer me up a lot since Roger Federer got his Golden Grand Slam (I still couldn’t believe Rafael Nadal lost at French Open!).

p.s. Kim has not disappointed me, she just win 6-1,6-1 and rush into second round!!

    The Unforggetable Eyes

    9_1503694_1

My eyes are the least part I like myself, besides my shape of course. Eyes can tell you so much.  I don’t mean to communicate with people through their eyes, but to sense those feelings they try to hide, those truths they try to hide, and the other selves they try to hide. Sure, it’s rude staring people in the eyes. Most of time, you can only have a glance on those eyes. But one eyes, just take a glance to remember them. The eyes of my tennis heroine, Justine Henin. Her eyes seem like an endless tunnel, so dark, so deep, and full of mystery. You look at those eyes, wonder what’s hidden behind/underneath, and the next second you just lost in that vast abyss of space.

Sunday night, I watched Justine Henin V.S. Maria Sharapova in the 2007 WTA Championships Final. It lasted 3 hours 24 minutes and 56 seconds, which is the longest female tennis match I have ever watched. Maria was so eager to win, and you could see how aggressive in her eye even from the other side of the court. Justine was as calm as usual, and you have no idea what’s in her mind. It’s so enjoyable watching Justin play on court. No only her remarkable techniques, but also the mystery in her eyes attracts me so much. Would that be nice to see her play on court?

Just thought about this song when I was posting. And I choose this special version.

    In The Sun

by Michael Stipe feat. Chris Martin

I picture you in the sun wondering what went wrong

And falling down on your knees asking for sympathy

And being caught in between all you wish for and all you seen

And trying to find anything you can feel that you can believe in

May God's love be with you

    Always

May God's love be with you

I know I would apologize if I could see your eyes

'Cause when you showed me myself I became someone else

But Ii was caught in between all you wish for and all you need

    I picture you fast asleep

    A nightmare comes

    You can't keep awake

May God's love be with you

    Always

May God's love be with you

    'Cause if I find

If Ii find my own way

    How much will I find

    If I find

If I find my own way

    How much will I find

    You

    I don't know anymore

    What it's for

    I'm not even sure

US Open Volume 2 - Damn Schedule

The US Open organization should be cursed to die! First, they changed the play order which separate women quarter-final into two days. Because the match started at 7 am, I thought I can as least watch half of the match (I usually start work at 8.30 am). And you know what, they change the player too, which they delay the start time to 8 am. That’s great! I can’t only watch the match warm-up despite the match result is great ( Justine win in two sets)!

US Open Volume 1 - Cheap Point

What is a Cheap Point? A double fault it is. And two consecutive double faults that’s miserable. Unfortunately, Elena Dementieva, one of my favorite tennis player, she’s not a very good server. I saw she play Svetlana Kuznetsova tonight, and I just couldn’t bear to see how frustrated she was. Elena had too many double faults, which made her very hard to close a game. I hate to see my favorite players lose match. I always turn off the television if they going to lose. And I would rather to see the online score update. Yeah, I know I am so childish.

US Open three days to go!!!
